Kate Saunders’ Reading Project,
Dean Williams’ Laboratory Project, and Foster Care Treatment
(9/8/08) For 6 weeks this past summer, Dean Williams’ and
Kate Saunders’ labs were host to 3 research interns. These interns
are current students of faculty at other universities who worked with

Early Childhood Leadership Project:
A Collaboration with the Kansas Inservice Training System Project

and enhance the leadership provided by the Kansas State Department of Education
through a variety of activities while specifically addressing the US Department
of Education, Office of Special Education requirements related to the early childhood

Southeast Kansas Community Action
Program Technical Assistance Project

(Jan. 2008) This project is focused on providing two key
forms of technical assistance to a regional organization (Southeast Kansas
Community Action Program, Inc.) These two primary emphases include data
management and mental health consultation with its early childhood providers.
