Integrated Outcomes Technical Assistance

(11/05) This contract with the Kansas Head Start Association has been undertaken
as a final phase to a previous contract with the Kansas Association of Community
Action Programs. All of the work has focused on providing workshops and training
to direct support and administrative staff regarding integrated outcomes for

Laboratory Models of Maladaptive Escape Behaviors
June 1, 2005 for $1.25 million (5-year R01) (7/05) The purpose
is to study environmental conditions that make typically reinforcing conditions
aversive for persons with developmental disabilities and chronic destructive

Increasing Access to Information Technology Subcontract with the Great Plains

(5/05) Since 2001 the LSI at Parsons has subcontracted with the Great Plains
ADA & IT Center to increase access to information technology (IT) for
persons with disabilities. The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation
Research funds a network of 10 ADA and IT Centers, formerly called Disability
and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTACs). (Read

Kansas Association of Community Action Programs

(3/05) Since the passage of the Economic Opportunity Act in 1964, Community Action
Programs have been providing anti-poverty programs in the U.S. Many of these
agencies have an emphasis on the provision of Head Start and Early Head Start
